The Kuleshov Effect is an edited short film in which the audience observes different type of emotions from the same scene. What we did was, to film one of our friend as the staring face. She didn't change her expression and we used that scene four times. We needed to find 3 scenes which would express different emotions and feelings such as hunger, sadness, love etc. We decided to film a little girl playing in the playground to express sweetness, an injured cat to express ruth, and a girl which the staring girl envies. After every scene, the same staring face appeared. The staring girl's, Eda's, face didn't change but the audience always thought about these feelings while watching. And finally, the Kuleshov Effect impressed everybody who watched our short film.
